The beach Dear Go friends,

From 24th to 30th of june 2009 , FRGO organizes the romanian Go summercamp at the Black Sea resort Eforie Nord.

During this period there are various activities scheduled :
- workshops on various thematics held by Catalin Taranu, Cristian Pop and other top romanian players
- the National Go Rapid Tournament
- the National Team Tournament
- the training of our national lots of all age categories

Go players from foreign countries are allowed to participate in all activities, to form their own team for the team tournament or join mixed teams. Depending on the completion of the national lots with romanian representatives, we could also insert some foreign players in our intensive training program, if they agree to pay the fee as detailed below. The final lists of national lots will be decided friday evening at the team leader's meeting.

The camp will start with a welcome party on the 24th at 20.00 pm, there is a farewell party scheduled as well on the evening of the last day , 29th June.

Besides the workshops held during the training of the national lot, other lessons held by top players like Pop Cristian and Burzo Cornel will be available as follows :

Free play and simultaneous games, spontaneus lessons and even playing other fun board games like Settlers, Carcasonne or Cow Trade are part of the daily camp activities. In the evening there are discos and terraces where people can enjoy themselves and relax.
Of course, one of the major attractions will be the beach, swimming and physical activities on the sand are also a daily habit of our camp veterans .

We expect players from Serbia, Bulgaria, Turkey , Israel and other countries to join us.
Serious study, relaxing and fun are guaranteed !!!

The entry fee for all camp activities ( tournaments, lessons, party) is 100 RON for adults and 60 RON for youth under 18 year old.

Accomodation Accomodation is provided at Hotel Petrolul in Eforie Nord at the convenient price of 30 RON per person, in double rooms ( single rooms can be available at request ) . The rooms have bath, TV and airconditioning . Most players will be lodged there, but if you wish better quality rooms more expensive hotels are available, please contact us for further details.

The schedule of trains from Bucharest to Constanta is given in detail below, from Constanta minibuses depart for Eforie Nord every 30 min, some of the trains also go directly to Eforie Nord railway station.
If you come by car from Bucharest take the highway to Constanta and then ask around, most people will know how to give you directions, once you are out of Constanta travel time to Eforie Nord is about 20 min, depending on traffic.
