Romanian National Championsip final 2008

Last weekend, the 22nd edition of the Romanian National Championship final was held at Poiana Brasov. The eight people qualified were Dragos Bajenaru 6d (last year's champion), Cristian Pop 7d, Cornel Burzo 6d, Daniel Cioata 5d, Lucian Corlan 5d, Constantin Ghioc 5d, Liviu Oprisan 4d and the youngest, Alexandru Farcas 2d.

Cristian Pop won all his games and became champion for the 6th time. The second and third places were taken by Cornel and Dragos, both with 5 points.
