Catalin Taranu, the new president of the Romanian Go Federation

Last weekend, on 25th April in Sinaia, the Romanian Go Federation called it's members for elections. The main event of the meeting was the election of a new president, vicepresident and members of the federal bureau. Every club affiliated to the federation had one vote.

The whole meeting lasted six hours and the election results are:

President, Cătălin Ţăranu (12 votes out of 22)
Vicepresident (after 3 rounds): Bogdan Câmpeanu (13 / 22)

The federal bureau:
Virtic Teodor 15 votes
Ion Florescu 13 votes
Gabriel Ciora 13 votes
Cristian Bratu 12 votes
Iulian Dragomir 12 votes
Cristian Pop 11 votes
Iulian Toma 11 votes

In the left image, Bogdan Campeanu (Bogzi) and Catalin, the new vicepresident and president.

The romanian Go community welcomes the change and hopes to see good results from the new team.
