Mok Jin-seok was born on January 20th, 1980 in South Korea.

He turned pro in 1994 at the age of 14. He reached 9 dan in 2005 after getting second place in the LG Cup against Lee Chang-ho.

He won KBS Baduk Wang in 2000, BC Card Cup in 1997, SK Gas Cup in 1999 and China-Korea New Pro Wang in 1998. He was also challenger for Kisung in 1999 and 2002, SK Gas Cup in 1998, Asian TV Cup in 2001 and the LG Cup in 2004.

benutzu	6/2/2009 9:53:20 PM I've had the joy of meeting Mok in this year's Shusaku Cup, in Romania. We've talked a lot Saturday night and I've discovered one of the most gentil pro's I've ever met. Below, Mok with Cho Seok-Bin at the prize giving ceremony of Shusaku Cup.
